The Essential Playlist for a Lusaka to Livingstone (LUS2LIV)Road Trip

There is no better road trip than the freedom of having your own wheels while in Africa. We know that America is famous for its expansive freeways and iconic Route 66, but they can’t compare to the friendly people and the wilderness of Zambia. You’ll get the opportunity to take the journey at your own pace and stop along the way whenever you fancy.

A road trip through Zambia will allow you to interact with local people, check out the stunning scenery and create fantastic memories all at the same time. Where else on this planet can you drive past elephants on the side of the road on your way to one of the biggest waterfalls on the planet?

Despite it being straightforward to throw some katundu in the car and hit the road, you can make your road trip a hundred times better with a bit of planning. The drive from Lusaka to Livingstone takes about six or seven hours, so we have created the ultimate essential play list for your journey to the tourist capital of Zambia.

Here is an eclectic mix of Zambian and African artists and old-school favourites that will ensure you’ll be signing at the top of your lungs. We suggest that you get your play list downloaded before you leave home as not everywhere along the way has connectivity, and you don’t want to use up all of your data. We are certain that with a carload of friends and this play list, you’ll be setting yourself up for an epic journey to Livingstone.
